| Marm secures a written agreement with the preferred service providers, because Marm believes reality is legality. Discounts are provided to Marm by medical facilities and doctors, who are members of preferred service providers. Regular discount rates are defined in the service provider contract. |
Marm automatically screens all accounts for discrepancies on a line-by-line basis, including but not limited to unnecessary testing, excessive charges, duplicate charge billing errors and unrelated charges. |
Our cost containment team monitors treatment costs regularly to prevent the occurrence of excessive invoices. The monitoring process starts with an estimation of the medical expenses per case. |
A new development area within cost containment services is the investigation of invoices received directly from the insured. Invoices are sent to us by our partners, in order for us to determine whether they are originals or not. |
