COVID-19 Turkey Update, Beginning of June

The daily number of cases remained under 1.000 during last week. The number of Inpatient, ICU and intubated patients also decrease proportionately.
The Minister of Health Announced joint vaccination project on Coronavirus between Turkey and Russia.
The Minister of Tourism announced that they now started to provide hygiene certificate for major touristic hotels in resort areas:
Which will include social distancing on beaches,
open buffet food will be still available but be kept in fridges and will be delivered by the chefs,
24/h health officer presence in hotels and screening at check-in for everyone
Officials announced that the dormitories where travellers were kept in isolation (quarantine) for 14 days have now completed their duties and will be prepared again for the students. This is another sign that the 14-day quarantine will no longer be applied to travellers.
Lockdown for people above 65 and under 18 years of age continues (with some exemptions for those who are working)
People above 65 years of age can apply for travel permission on the condition that they stay in the destination for a month
Restrictions lifted as of June 01:
Restaurants, cafes, parks, beaches, museums are open. Open-air concerts will start to take place.
Restrictions on intercity travel for 15 cities have been lifted.
Young people at the age of 19 and 20 are no longer included in the lockdown.
Flights:
Domestic flights started on June 01 and international flight operations will start on June 10.
Hotels:
As of May 27, hotels started to announce their opening dates.
Some Coronavirus free certified hotels started to serve already,
and other facilities announced their opening date by latest July 01.
In order for the social distancing rules to be followed, hotels are expected to serve at 60% of their room capacity.
Main elements of the Healthy Tourism Certification Program to be followed by the Hotels:
Sterilization of every corner of the facilities (disinfection with ozone and ULV machines)
Use of materials that comply with the standards
Pandemic training for employees at the facilities
Common use areas to be suitable for social distance rules (periodic disinfection of open and closed areas)
The temperature of the guests will be taken with thermal cameras
Having medical equipment and staff ready in the facility in accordance with the standards determined by the Ministry of Health
